At Pacific Ember Studios your privacy is very important to us and we respect the privacy rights of every user that interacts with our studio or our products. We have created the Privacy Policy below to inform you on our practices for how we collect, store, and use any information you may provide us with. This Privacy Policy describes how Pacific Ember Studios, collects, uses and discloses information along with what choices you have with respect to that information. This Privacy Policy applies whenever you access Pacific Ember Studios’ game Mental Math Club, or interact with our studio or customer support via email - henceforth collectively referred to as our Services.

By using any of our Services, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access or use our Services.

2. What information do we collect and how/why do we use it?

No personally identifiable information is generated or collected by Pacific Ember Studios for Mental Math Club. Any player data generated is only stored on your local device. The game data persisted locally falls into the two categories below:

  • Game session data (number of problems, types of problems, whether the answer was correct or not, device timestamps)
  • User preferences

When contacting us directly for support, here are the ways in which we collect personal information:

Customer Support: We may collect personal information that you provide when submitting a support request, including information such as your contact information, device type, operating system, and preferred language (called ‘Device Specifications’). This information will be provided by you directly via email or our other support channels, and will be used for the purposes of resolving the support request.

At Pacific Ember Studios we do not share or sell any of your personal or non-personal information with third parties unless compelled to do so by law.

Our Game includes services from third-party providers such as functionalities through application programming interfaces (APIs), Software Development Kits (SDKs) and in-app advertising. Advertising

Advertisements from third party ad networks may be displayed in Our Games from time to time. All reasonable endeavors are used to ensure that these ad networks comply with all applicable legislation in the provision of their services towards us. If you click on any advertisements through Our Game, the advertisers may use cookies and other web-tracking technologies to collect data, to provide targeted advertisements to you. Some of this may be personal information, and some of it non-personal information. Opting out of Targeted Advertising

You can opt-out of interest-based advertising on mobile applications by checking the privacy settings of your Android or iOS device and selecting “Limit Ad Tracking” (Apple iOS) or “opt-out of interest-based ads” (Android). This will also prevent mobile device identifiers from being collected.

4. What is our policy regarding children?

We recognize the need to provide further privacy protections with respect to information we may collect from children using our Services.

Mental Math Club does not collect or store user data from interactions with our product. Third-party service providers are reasonably examined to ensure compliance with regards to privacy protections for children, however you are recommended to review the terms of use and privacy policy of any of the third parties above with whom you are interacting with before doing so.

If a child under the age of 13 contacts us directly for customer support, we take additional steps to protect their privacy, including:

  • Requesting their legal guardians consent for the collection of personal information from the child for the purposes of the customer support request.
  • Limiting our collection of personal information from children to no more than is reasonably necessary to resolve the support request.
